Frequently asked questions
Are the programs in English?
No. The programs, print templates and guide are in German and follow German procedures (registering your address under § 17 BMG, German authorities and providers, the usual German flat handover). They suit anyone moving within Germany who can read German forms.
Which countries can I order from?
From all EU countries, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, the USA and Canada. We currently cannot sell to private customers in the United Kingdom, because VAT is due there on digital products from the first pound; UK businesses can order.
Do I need an account or an internet connection?
No. The files run offline in your browser. You only need the internet for the download.
Does it work on a tablet or phone?
Yes, with an up-to-date browser. A computer or tablet is most comfortable, especially for printing.
Where are my entries stored?
In your browser’s local storage on your device. You can also save a backup file at any time and load it again – even on another device.
How do I get a PDF?
Choose “Save as PDF” in your browser’s print dialogue.
How quickly does the download link arrive?
Usually within one working day of payment, by email. Please check your spam folder too.
Will I get an invoice?
Yes, by email on request. VAT exempt under § 19 German VAT Act (UStG) – no VAT is charged.
Can I pass the files on?
No. You receive a right of use for your own household. Printouts for your own use are allowed without limit.
Can I withdraw from the purchase?
For digital content, the right of withdrawal expires once you expressly consent to immediate delivery and we provide the download. Before that you can withdraw – details in the cancellation policy.
What if something does not work?
Write to sunfieldshops@gmail.com. The statutory rights for defects apply.
Does the moving planner know public holidays?
No. It moves appointments with authorities to working days (Monday to Friday); please check the public holidays of your federal state yourself.
Is the handover report legally binding?
The report documents the condition of the flat if both sides sign it. How it would be assessed in a dispute is something we cannot judge – this is not legal advice.
Can I fill in the report by hand?
Yes. The kit includes a blank, multi-page handover report to print, plus a meter reading list and a key list.
Is this useful for a move outside Germany?
Only partly. The schedule and the list of who to notify follow German procedures and German authorities; the box labels and the handover report work anywhere, but all texts are in German.
